Why so little attention to this film?

I saw this and I have to say I was taken by the combination of beautiful visuals accompanied with superb soundtrack and the poetic narration by Kouyaté. This really needs a lot more attention than it has received! Are people dismissing this film as just any old nature documentary or is there something wrong with it that I'm just not seeing. The score is pretty low. I'm imagining maybe the film has been shown at some schools to teenagers who found it boring and decided to downvote it. Deserves a lot more than 6.8..
