PRIVATE SCREENINGS - Other inteviews

I wish someone with more knowledge and more access to cast & credit information than I would post the other entries in TCM's Private Screenings series.

I recently watched Robert Osborne's interview with Ann Miller and thoroughly enjoyed it. I know it is an old interview; however Miller was dazzling, refreshing and fun. Some of the same observations the viewer here makes about Betty Hutton's "memory" I think may also be applied to Ann's, but for me this is part of the charm of these one on one interviews - to hear a famous star's own reecollections in her/his own words whether 100% accurate or not.

Osborne is an intelligent, well prepared and kind interviewer who treats his guests with warmth and respect.

The 1995 Private Screenings interview with Jane Powell is included as an extra on the recently released DVD of "Two Weeks with Love" (paired with "Nancy Goes to Rio"), also part of the WB box set "Classic Musicals from the Dream Factory, Volume 3".

These are such great interviews with stars of yesteryear... Ann Miller is one of my favourites.... what do you question about her memory?? This was made whilst she was very much intact, sadly her last interviews are not so good.

I read somewhere online that Cyd Charisse was interviewed but haven't been able to find a listing anywhere?
