This really bothered me...

I was watching H&C today (06-07-06), and Hannity was discussing Cynthia McKinney with the leader of the New Black Panthers. They were having a fairly civilized debate, until the BP Rep. mentioned something about race, and Hannity jumped all over him saying things like, "Woah, woah... Let's not make this a race issue. This isn't a race issue!"

WHAT? If it isn't a race issue, then why are you interviewing the leader of the New Black-freaking-Panthers?? When you invite the leader of the New Black Panthers onto your show, you've pretty much conceded the idea that race has something to do with it.

Although, I'm probably giving Sean a bit too much credit here. He knew exactly what he was doing by bringing that guy on. Hannity brought him on becase he was a supporter of Cynthia McKinney who was not very articulate and is affiliated with a radical-extremist group. By bringing that guy on his show, he was trying to invalidate the argument of any rational person who might feel the same way about McKinney. Essentially, the man was an elaborate scarecrow.

Sean Hannity is despicable and manipulative.

I am so sick of this kind of thing. Even thought I know I should come to expect it by now...
