They Couldn't Find a More Able Liberal Pundit For This?!

The problem with "Hannity & Colmes" is that Hannity is a ranting, raving demagogue, shouting and pontificating like he was in a Baptist Revival tent. Alan Colmes is a timid, introverted, laid-back moderate who is, at best, moderately skilled as a debator and pundit. This show would be infinitely more entertaining AND balanced if they got a rabid, loud, angry liberal like Mike Malloy or Rhandi Rhodes. Then the liberal audience would get truly balanced and able representation, and Hannity will have to work much harder!

It really doesn't matter what liberal is on the show...it would end up the same. Until liberals can prescribe ANSWERS rather than dwell on the QUESTIONS, it doesn't matter who represents them. They're all too busy whining for it to really matter.

Do you guys actually watch the show? They show some very interesting things on that show. How can you say Hannity is a liar when he offers proof to back his arguments?

It is amazing how the posters on this board repeat the same dumbed down phrases handed to them by the likes of Hannity and Rush. I guess it's just easier not to think for yourself.

By the way, where have the so called "Republican answers" taken this country?

Hannity doesn't debate despite what he calls it; he is an agressive interviewer. There are very few on the right, or the left for that matter, who are effective debaters; they argue; they don't debate. Two who are very, very good are Mario Cuomo on the left and Bill Bennett on the right. They present their arguments well, ask good questions of each other, and respond effectively-not with a another question right back at the interviewer.
Also, neither of them suffers fools gladly, and woe betide the show that puts up a mismatch to either of them.

Colmes knows who runs the TV show...and its not him.

If you listen to Colmes' own radio program, he's as rabid as any other host. He is far more reserved on the TV show.
