I remember an episode that aired on Nickolodeon where the Little Prince and a friend got wet swimming so they stripped off their clothes to air dry on a tree. Then they sat completely nude (everything showing) laughing and carrying on. Even as a child I found this shocking. Does anyone remember this? Is it included on the DVD?
shareYep my kids and I are watching it now. Got the dvd at the library. The Little Prince and his friend (whose stepmother doesnt want him to be a dreamer) go looking in the river to find his friend's "case of magical things" so they get really wet. They remove all their clothes to hang them to dry and lay spread eagle on the grass totally naked. We were a little shocked! usually you dont see full frontal nudity in a kids cartoon. It was no big deal of course but surprising.
More surprising was that my kids, surrounded by computer-animated cartoons, were totally taken with this dvd and have watched it several times. I came on here to see if there were more than the three episodes on this dvd because they seem to really like it. Go figure.
I TOO remember that and being shocked. It didn't bother me, but I remember LATER showings of it being cut out.
With the movie being released soon I was reminded of the show on Nickelodeon and suddenly came here with that vague memory. Seems I am not alone.
