Don't know what made me think of it, but I started to wonder about it. I used to watch this when I was around five or so and it was beautiful. It's when I think about shows like this that I realize how far Nick Jr. shows have fallen...

I remember this show too way back when I must have been about four years old or even younger. It's so odd how I can remember it but I do. I never saw it on Nick Jr. but back in the 80's they would show it on TVO in Ontario, Canada. I would like to see it again and maybe I could unlock some memories from way back in '84.

Today's show on Nickelodeon CANNOT come within a light-year of what we had.
Although it has been said, many, many times before: the shows were better then.
All of these cartoons, along with The Little Prince, were far better than today's "Nick toons"
Belle & Sebastian
Mysterious Cities of Gold
Spartacus and the Sub Beneath the Sea
And a slew more. I loved Dangermouse ---nothing like getting a little British humor at an early age.
