I have never seen it, but I have the book and it is one of my favorites. I didn't even know that there was a movie adaptation.

I just got it on Netflix, and enjoyed it. Though I think rating the movie as they did for the "sexuality" part was a joke- the alluded to it, but didn't show anything! Which I'm perfectly fine with, actually....
It was a touching movie, and made me want to work my business harder so I can be able to not have to work; my dad's older, and if something happened to him or my mom, it'd be too mean to not be able to go home to be with them! Meaning, I'd have to stay at work- if it was going to be more than a couple weeks!
So anyway, great movie!
I was really touched by Alison Pill when she was reading from "Alice in Wonderland", when her mom was at home in bed, real sick.... When she realized the connection between what her mom did, and what Alice was saying about her feet & all that.

I loved this movie too and it made me cry when their mom died. Does anyone know if it's on DVd or video or if it's comming on TV anytime soon?
