I read the book for the first time over a year ago and fell in love with it.
I ordered the DVD for my birthday and have just watched it but it was awful! In films it is acceptable to change some details..but not most of them!! They cut out one of the main characters!!
Still made me cry like hell but they could have done better.
i saw the 2nd 1/2 of the film for about alittle over an hour so i missed the very beginning, i admit, it was cheesy, but for me i enjoyed seeing it.... i recently found out my best fr. from high school had died of breast cx,(14 yrs ago), and it i was curious b/c i would have thought this women would have survived it, i wanted to see if they talked about how it progressed etc. but of course they didnt. i will read the book now that u mentioned it, i love to read and i find books far more interesting then the screen stuff.
