disappointed by movie

I was let down by the movie because the acting was a definite step above the usual Lifetime fare and yet the plot was not equal to it. Perkins played her part very well as did the girls. Yet the characters seemed fairly insufferable to the end. I don't want to give away anything so I'll just say that it's absurd how they come together as a family after how immaturely the older sister behaves throughout the entire film. And Bakula's character is completely unrealistic, never getting mad for instance. C'mon.

Like I said, the acting was very good. And there were a lot of excellent scenes but I would've preferred the movie continue for another hour so we could've seen some development as a real family.

well yeah it was emotional for all of us to watch it, except for me because i wasn't born when this story took place. my sister, who wrote the book did base this on her life.

Now you've spelled KARIN'S name wrong in TWO threads!! C'mon, admit it...you're not related to this family at all. I know you want to make people believe that you're a part of this real life family, but it's really kind of twisted and weird. You need to get a grasp of reality.
