What?

I'm not going to judge this film on its quality, because I've not seen it, and it may turn out to be awesome, yet. I don't know, I've not seen it. But what is up with this? The director has never done anything before, other than consult people, the writer has never done anything before, and the only actor who's recognizable is the dad from Malcom In the Middle. Is this a studio movie? And if it's not, what festivals did it hit?

I'm just really curious because it seems like this has just blipped under my radar.
