Looking for a movie...

About a mission to Mars (?) The movie is from Eastern Europe, must be over 20 years old. It was really slow-moving. There was a mission to some planet, there the astronauts discovered life in some crater. Later they returned to earth and it was deserted. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
