If the slashers were as bad as the ones in the movie, it would be easy money. Even I might stand a chance.
But I'm pretty sure the slashers would be a little more aggressive and try a bit harder if it was real. Maybe I would apply to be the cameraman chasing them all around with a 'not to be killed' guarantee...
Also, as long as I had a sharpened chair leg, I could fight off any chainsaw weilding slasher without any problems, and then I could hang their severed heads on my belt (what was that about?)
A reality TV show did exist a few years ago, it was called Murder in Small town X, and each week one of the contestants would be "killed off".
