shareI have to say I too enjoyed this.I originaly rented it beacause John Cleese is great. From Monty Python's Flying Circus and Quest for the Holy Grail. I only wished he was it it more than he is but even so, i liked it. Recommend watching any of the Monty Python movies or series from the sixties and early seventies. I liked how the story kind of told the story in reverse and how th Merchant pulled a knife on the dog. I loved that!!
Anyone Know who the girl is in the movie, the one dressed like a Zena character? Her name as an actress or the charcter's name? please let me know so I can find other moves with her in it.

Yo I just saw Scorched, and I really liked it, infact today I came to this site to look for more Gavin Grazer movies. I think the girl dressed like zena is Rachel Leigh Cook, if I'm not mistaken she was in "She's All That" a Mirmax teen rom-com relased about 3-4 years ago.

sharei love this movie! i've only seen it once, when i was in Switzerland on an exchange. i've been trying to find it but not one video store in my town has it. actually, one did have it previously but they sold it. i was soo choked
shareGreat fun flick, moves right along, good scene changes, great mix of action and comedy, great actors doing a great job. On second watching, held up better than the first time!
Very underrated. 8/10 for how it's acted, put together and the story in general. Woody Harrelson and John Cleese were great (but then just about the whole cast was).
A neat and tidy bit of quirky, funny film.
A keeper.

shareI only watched because Rachael Leigh Cook was in it (I'm on a mission to watch all of her movies) but it really surprised me. I didn't have any expectations after seeing the rating here on IMdb, but it's actually really really good. Very funny and kinda sweet in a way. And Rachael as Xena... HELL YEAH!!! :) hehe
sharehey thanx guys, and yes i also saw 29 palms, a great movie in respect to indipendent titles. if anyone likes jeremy davies, the main character, i sincerely suggest seeing The Million Dollar Hotel and Solaris, i thought was pretty cool. If you guys like movies like this, i suggest another called, The Last Minute, a very intirguing film, relative to Spun and Requiem for a dream.

She wasn't dressed up like xena she was taking her d&d character agnaist all the pricks. remember the scene where they were playing d&d?
saying dressed up like xena is alot easier then sayng dressing up like her dungeons and dragons character. less is more
and i LOVE this movie. we need more movies like this. big trouble was good too.
the first time i watched this i didnt laugh. i just watched it like a half hour ago on comedy central, it was hysterical. i guess its a mood thing.

Yeah dude, I really liked this movie and I instantly thought of Big Trouble. Is it the same writer and/or director? I'll check. Big Trouble ruled.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just remembered Big Trouble was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. I remember when I first saw it, I thought it was a Get Shorty rip off, but Big Trouble ruled none the less.

well for those of you that love this movie and want to watch it tune in to the Comedy Central Channel and you all can watch it they are showing it like every other day or so yeh you all should keep a lookout for the movie on Comedy Central channel for the movie.

Personally i hated the Movie and found it not the least bit funny and didnt laugh at all . it is if anything Overrated than what it is now . and doesnt deserve to be on Cable TV . for those of you who havent seen it well dont waste your time it sucked . but its up for you to decide weather you want to watch it or not but if it was me i wouldnt waste my time on it .

A very decent movie with a good story and a good Saturdy morning flick.

shareI bought this movie simply because it had David Krumholtz in it. Then I sat down and watched it. I loved it!! The movie is hilarious and since then I have watched it over and over. I really liked the characters... they were all so odd and quirky in their own way and it makes it so much fun to watch!!

shareGreat all time comedy, I gave it a nine. Rachel Leigh Cook lovers will also enjoy the movie "11:14" in addition to what a PP above listed, same style as this one.
shareI just saw this, and it was decent enough. Not an award-winner or anything, but a solid comedy. Nothing must-see, but not really terrible. Somewhere around a 7/10 sounds about right.
