Enjoy -- it's only about fifteen minutes but it packs a helluva punch!
:( It won't let me watch it. It started downloading a codec and then at 99% said that it couldn't load and my computer froze and i can't have my gerry fix! I want my Ger-Bear!!!!
"The Phantom of the Opera is there,
Deep down below!" Heehee, wouldn't that be fun?

Gebo,
It sounds as if the problem you're having is with the Windows software. You can try downloading a version of QuickTime for Windows from: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and then go back to the "Please" link at atomfilms.com; there's a box you can check when the site asks you to select your media preference that says "use QuickTime when available." I haven't needed to use it because I've have RealPlayer on a Mac, but maybe this will work better for you than the codec file.
Good luck!
Coool!!! Thanks! I just got done watching it! This was very good, but very sad. I loved the scene in the office with that lady (I guess she's an editor??) and he's ranting to her, then she finds out that she was reading his book and he breaks down and cries and she's like, "Have your mobile switched off all morning?" and he's sobbing and says, "I broke it!" He sounds so funny in that scene! I love it!
But, God, it is sooooo depressing!!! His life finally gets back on track, and then he dies!! And his daughter is sooo stupid!!! She's what, 7? 8? I knew better than to play with guns when I was that age, she is soo dumb!!
"Sing once again with me, our strange duet. My power over you, grows stronger yet."
I have Windows Media Player and Quicktime, but I can't get the film to play. The commercial for SBC Yahoo works just fine but then the film doesn't start. Nothing happens when I click the Play icon.
Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks hmf-1!
I have RealPlayer and didn't even know it. Once I chose it, it played fine. I loved it! What a sad story! Of course Gerry was brilliant in it. Thanks for all your help. :)

I just watched it using realplayer- what a powerful short film- so much pathos in 15 minutes! And Gerry was magnificent!
shareYes indeed it was good. Very good. Gerard Butler is such a hottie. The emotion was great. I prefer to think that he survived. LOL. He already died once in Reign of Fire. I can't have him dyin' again. ^.^ Watch this if u LOVE Gerard Butler.

Chupa (Blade II): Listen, sh!t kicker! You're about one *beep* hair away from hillbilly heaven.
I agree. I love this movie.
For nowadays the world is lighted by lightening-so blow out your candels, Laura-and so goodbye!
Wow! A very powerful film. The beginning telephone scene just blew me away...
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind...
I was lucky to discover this short on a British Cable website. I think it was Channel 4 - short films. As for Mr. Butler, I must confess that he is an interesting actor. I thank the higher powers for changing his career from law to acting.
I will confess that Mr. Butler could have been reciting the alphabet and I would still be drawn into his character. What a great little film?
where is it...the link I mean...when I went on atomfilms.com they took it off, and I just wanted to see it again...I would love to know where this British Cable website is so I could see it again...thanx.
