I thought the movie was cute but Ian being at every function with a different job.....come on thats so silly!

I said the same thing to my boyfriend! Like he just happens to show up everywhere Daphne is... stalker.

Also silly is when he says, "one of my many jobs." He sounded bitter that he had to work so many jobs since he wanted nothing to do with his grandparents' nobility because of his parents.

reply

I don't think he minds WORKING there. He is not at these events to socialize. He is there to work. He did also say, that his grandparents took a liking to him. But out of respect for his parents, he probably wouldn't be caught dead at these events, if he wasn't there to work.

reply

I realize he wasn't there to socialize. My point was that he sounded bitter at having to work. His tone sounded bitter when he said, "one of my many jobs." Maybe he was bitter because he had to work at those functions that he "wouldn't be caught dead at" if it were socially.

I remember thinking that even the first time I saw it in theaters back in 2003.

This is my signature.

So we agree that this fantasy romance is not very realistic.

Lots of people also avoid calling others rapists.

I'm not sure what a "good hustler" is, but is it anything like a "good" bottle of wine or something?

A double-edged sword ... not to be used by siblings, sexual or otherwise.

Not your average twin!

This was representative of the film's overall poor and unimaginative screenplay
