I don't think I've ever see her look bad in anything. Even the scenes in Requiem For A Dream when her character was all drugged out.

Not real impressed to be honest, especially since she's not very old and used to be a knockout. Hard to tell what her weight looks like in that picture. Maybe a little better than when she was gaunt, but she lost the wow factor.

She was one of the hottest women in Hollywood and got all sickly looking. I mean she was the definition of sexy. She was always cute. Even when she was younger, she was a good looking girl. But as she matured, it was like "WOW". I have read that she was struggling with the loss of her father, which is a shame. I hope she's better now.

Yes, I agree. Also some years 1990's I think, she looks with more weight than her normal status but still looks fine.

She had two stages of hotness. First she was a little thicker. Not fat at all and in fact most of it was simply in the face. It was very cute. It gave her a young look. And she always had the boobs.

Then in the 00s (maybe even late 90s, I don't remember) she became WOW. She thinned out just a hair, tweezed her eyebrows a little and her face became more define. I wouldn't have kicked either version out of bed, but the latter one was simply stunning.

Yeah, like gmansi said, that photo is from 2008, she lost a lot of weight after her dad died, which took her over half a year to recover back to a healthy weight. She looks way better nowadays.

I agree that she was beautifully but she hardly acted in her scenes. Most of the "Acting" she does is looking distraught and worried. I don't know if that was the script, director, or just her, but it was bad. And I usually like her too!

The "romance" between Bruce and Betty was subpar in this movie. She basically gives Bruce to her father, the military, and the government without a second thought. What happened to women fighting for their superhero men?

I'll have to see the film again in regards of her acting, but when I first saw it, I thought she and the rest of the cast did a good job.

Regarding Betty Ross' character, from what I remember, I don't think she was trying to betray Bruce. She thought she was trying to help him by handing Bruce over to her father, so that he could help both of them. Her father ended up betraying her wishes and I remember Betty getting upset at her dad for not doing what she wanted him not to do.

I had the pleasure of seeing her up close back in 2010 while she was filming "Virginia" right down the street from my house here in Michigan. She is indeed still very lovely despite all the weight loss & now that she is 43. But I have to agree with those who say that her "wow" factor went down a few notches after she lost all that weight & had breast reduction surgery. Such a shame too cuz she was not only sexier looking but much healthier looking too. I guess Hollywood still has the outdated view that if an actress wants a serious roles, u still have to be rail thin.

While the plot of the film may be a little too drawn out and bleak at times, Jennifer Connelly saved many of the scenes involving Betty and Bruce or Betty and David for me. And I really felt like Sam Elliott's Ross was her father.
