Ending

Yeah so as I'm writing this, I'm a little annoyed. Not because of the movie though...I thought the movie was great, well, what I saw of it. I'm annoyed at the fact that after an hour and 25 minutes have gone by, with the ending almost in sight...the dvd freezes. So I took it out and gave it a look and there is a tiny, yet deep scratch on the inside of the lens. I tried playing it again, and fast forwarding just a little bit, but whenever I did fast forward, it just skipped to the credits. So my question is this: how did the movie end. If someone could just post on here, or even PM me so we don't hear crap like 'thanks for spoiling it'. I need closure. Thank you.

Chin meets up with the Ex-Cop, and tells him the story so he can finish his book...

In flashback, Chin reveals to O she was friends with his previous cleaner Nancy (the one who was killed in O's false appartment), who had previously told Chin that she thought O was an assassin. Wanting some excitement in her life, Chin put a cleaner's ad in the same place Nancy had, hoping O would hire her.

Although O seems ready to open up to her now, Chin's not sure if it's too late now that she has feeling for Tok aswell. O wants to retire so decides he and Tok need a final showdown.

O and Chin place an ad in the papers for Tok to find them. They meet in a restaurant(?) where Tok gives Chin the Snoopys. There is no tension and the three of them get on like old friends, laughing and joking. However, come 11PM O and Tok each ask Chin to wait for him and they drive off together.

Tok has set up a fireworks warehouse like a level of "Metal Slug" - weapons and armour are hidden in crates. After a chasing each other around for a bit, a load of fireworks are set off while O and Tok are standing atop stackes of boxes shooting at each other accross the warehouse. They both loose there footing and fall. Tok is the first to recover, walks over to O and shoots him dead...

Back in the present, Chin finishes her story saying both Tok and O got what they wanted - O wanted to dissappear and Tok wanted to be the best (or something to that effect!). She leaves the Ex-Cop in the cafe/bar and gets into the passanger seat of a car. The Ex-Cop starts having doubts about the story, and runs out of the cafe, and catches a glimpse of the driver - It's O.

We see in flashback what really happenned - The fireworks triggered one of Tok's seizures, which left him defenseless and unable to prevent O from delivering the final shot.

The Ex-Cop considers trashing his book but decides to finish it with Tok winning anyway - That's the way Tok and O want it to finish.

In the closing scene, O is visiting a grave. The camera zooms through the earth, past the graves owner, to reveal Tok's peaceful body further below.
