This movie wouldve been even more enjoyable had they not had white subtitles on white backgrouns a lot of the time

I agree....!

I think later HK films have the subtitles below the film. (At least that is the way it seems to me).

Same problem when I watched Red Cliff. It was annoying. Sometimes I had to pause the DVD and figure out the subtitles. I like to call these 'camo-subs'

Hmm. The copy I have has yellow sub titles.
