Hi, I am from IRAN. In our country on that time (1993-1994) DOOM 1&2 were very popular. I have a lot of memoris with playing those games with my brother and my friends.
I would like to know the other guys and if those Games were popular in your countries or not!
I didnt like that Movie, DOOM. It was so stupid. Still I love DOOM Games.

Hey I'm from the United States and probably one of the only girls who actually loved Doom. I was pretty young back in '93 but my friends and I played it all the time, and I recently purchased Doom 3 collector's edition for the Xbox.

I'm french ! I discovered Doom back in 1995 on Super NES. Yeah, this game existed on a 16bits system, and it was pretty faithful to the original (some texture changes and a bit less levels).
There were no cheat codes in that version (IDDAD anyone ? :P) and no save game, making the last levels of each episode really frightening. My best memories of terror were while playing "Halls of the Damned" and "Mt Erebus".
