A simple question: What do you call the tool or instrument that the killer used to extract blood and/or inserted through the eye?

Probably an old lancet which would have been used in the time that Francis Paladine actually lived. Remember that in those times when people were ill they used to "bleed" them to remove the illness. A lot larger than a needle or I.V. catheter used today, boy would that hurt!!!!
shareWhen I first saw them doing it, it really reminded me of when they used to give labotomies. They'd stick something like that in their eye and stir up the front part of their brain. That's kind of what I thought they were doing, especially when he did it to her and she was still alive when he heard Michael call out in the next room. They were saying the soul was seated in the front of the brain behind the eyes, so I thought they were trying to get to that area for that reason and release Frances Paladin's soul. Maybe find out what instrument was used for labotomies and see if they are similar?
