3 eps into Season 4 now.... (some spoilers)

Very much liked Season 1 - 3. Season 3 had some really great eps and some good story archs. Wasn't much into the money train thing first, but got real fun later on (especially when the real problems for our team started). It was great to see the character-change of Aceveda after what's happened to him. Then at the end Lem trying to do the right thing.... that was some great TV.

I had high hopes for Season 4. But I have to admit I'm struggling a bit so far. Glenn Close is a great actress, but she just doesn't do it for me so far. Maybe it's that semi-smug smile she's got on the whole time....I dunno. Also the break-up of the Strike Team did a lot of damage to me. Not because they broke it up, they had it coming, but splitting up the characters just make them don't drive each other anymore. A lot of momentum got lost. And Ronnie, always the quiet Sidekick....gets even less to do. A shame.

I'll watch some more eps tonight. About 10-12 a week I guess. I keep you posted....still looking forward to the much praised seasons 5-7.

I don't wanna spoil it but S4 is really about the rebuilding of the Strike Team.

I've got no future I can plan on past tomorrow

Season 4 is typically the most divisive season. Some love it because it's the most unique season, or some hate it. I enjoy the hell out of that season. I don't remember exactly how far in, but it will hit its stride soon.

Once she settled into the role I really enjoyed Glenn Close's performance, especially toward the end of the season. She was a powerhouse and IIRC won an award for her work on the show, deservedly so. Though my favorite guest star on the show is Forest Whitaker, I won't spoil it but he's a revelation in the role he appears. Only topped by Walton Goggins IMO. The other guest star of S4, Anthony Anderson, is surprisingly fantastic as well, something i never thought possible. I was, gladly, dead wrong about him in the role of Antwon.

Also, while Ronnie doesnt have as much to do, season 4 does give Lem (one of my favorites) a bigger role.

Just finished Ep 8 of Season 4. Really starting to take off now. Took a while to get into the new scenario and some new characters, but getting more tense and exciting with every episode. A. Anderson is also a nice suprise, usually know as the goofy sidekick in most movies.

Just wonder: Was it this season that offended some people (as being racist??) that led to the heavy downvoting??

Yes. If you haven't yet, 4x10 is a big reason I'd say, One of the more "controversial" scenes from the series is in that episode.
