Completely agree. I was really upset about that. The lack of adults and their voices is an iconic trait of the Charlie Brown series. This shouldn't be associated with the true characters we've grown up with.

Normally I'd agree but, since this special was basically a history lesson, having adults in it was a good idea. If they made Thomas Edison stand out of frame and honk the whole time the special would've been ruined. For young children This Is America, Charlie Brown is a very informative and educational program that is presented in a way which makes learning history fun. There aren't many other things like this. I'm very glad this Peanuts special was made.

I didn't like the presence of adults either. It ruins the charm of the premise.

And the characters were not well incorporated into the story. It was like The Peanuts were just extras cast in a boring non-musical episode of Schoolhouse Rock.
