I've just realized... (shocking revelation)

I went back over the episode list for Braceface on the official website and have just realized that there are about 3 times as many episodes as I thought there was.

When I say it on TV (Can't remember which station), the network cut out pretty much every episode containing anything controversial. The episode with the inflatable bra, pretty much every single episode with Dion in it, in fact everything controversial except for the one about her first period.

This SUCKS BIG TIME.

It makes me wonder how much they cut out of the episodes that I did see.

Whoa, that's unusual for an American Station. That's usually one done before with series that are both domestic and produced directly to standards and practices. Even Disney usually reorders it's own shows.

That's weird because I'm from the US and I remember the episodes where Sharon got drunk, got her first period, thought Adam was abusing his girlfriend, and so on.

I don't think the last season aired here at all, it wasn't just the episodes with Dion.

Have you seen one where she thinks her older brother is beating his girlfriend?
I ask because, while I haven't seen the show in at least five years, I vaguely remember an ep about that. The brother was moving around boxes upstairs or something, and the thumping made Sharon think he was abusing/raping his girlfriend.
I didn't think much of it at the time, but it seems like that episode would have been a big deal. Is it just my imagination?

Ohh... I found the episode on bracefacetv.com.
Sharon is assigned the Teen Help Line for a community service project in her health class... she gets a phone call that sounds suspiciously like Adam's girlfriend (complaining that her boyfriend's a make-out monster).
I guess I exaggerated the situation in my mind...
