I downloaded the Bananas in Pajamas theme song for my iPod years ago, and it came with a second verse about Zucchini in Bikinis. I don't know if that's authentic or not, or if it was spliced together with the real theme song. Has anyone else heard this?
shareZucchini's in Bikinis was most likely included because there a such characters in the books from which the television show developped. There was also Beans in Jeans. (Yes, I have three of the books.) There weren't just three teddies either, there were a fair few, none of which were Amy, Morgan and Lulu. And no Rat-in-a-Hat either.
And yet, sadly, accidental rudeness occurs alarmingly often...
I loved those books as a kid, I still have three of them. Don't forget pears in flares and beetroots in gumboots as well! there was also another character which I could never figure out and that was the carrots in the Holiday Book...they don't seem to be wearing any special clothes.
