Australopithecus in Beasts and Cavemen -- which was better?

For those of you who have also seen Walking with Cavemen, which of the two documentaries would you say featured the more accurate and believable Australopithecus Afarensis. I can imagine it presented a challenge for the team. The CG and animatronic Australopithecus in WWB was one of the less realistic reconstructions in the series, which is only to be expected. No animatronic can possibly create the complex facial expressions of apes. As for the CG, the movements were believable, but the visuals were still of the quality of average CG mammal meaning that such aspects as hair movement and dirt can never be fully recreated and are usually blurred out. In Walking with Cavemen, the Australopithecus still had a largely animatronic face i think, but the neck and head movements were a bit more natural. The hair was also more natural and believable. Still certian things like the body movement, posture and walking stance, which cannot be fully recreated by modern humans, were also criticised. So which show featured the better Australopithecus? Also, are there other shows with good and reasonably accurate reconstructions of Austalopithecus?

Australopithecus also appears in the final episode of ''Primeval''

CGI version definitely.

I was very anxious to see Walking With Cavemen and finally was extremely disappointed because I just couldn't get into it. the costumes were just ridiculous. I know they put a lot of effort in it, but it just didn't happen for me.

I couldn't help thinking "o look, a nudist version of 70s Planet of the Apes"... All in all, i thought WWC was an obvious drop in quality from the first two, and I couldn't watch it entirely - too boring, badly done, and too full of obvious mistakes / intellectual dishonesty.
