*laughs until it hurts...* OMG are u serious, its a joke rite? Both kids are two of the worst child actors I've ever seen...true they didn't have a great director to help them but they could have at least seemed a little like they werent just reading everything they said off of a peice of paper! Anyways, the film might have worked if not for them...

in fact...you wanna see a real actor.. go to www.ryankelleyforever.tk, now this is a real child actor...

The only "joke" here is YOU........and a rather bad one at that.
So you have a web page for YOUR favorite actor which is fine. Im sure nobody has a problem with that. The question remains; why belittle others here for expressing their appreciation for Adi Steins performance?
I would assume that you might be quick to defend the actors who YOU like. Why attack someone else for expressing their appreciation or support. Adi Stein is a 10 year old kid, with no previous acting experience. Stolen Summer is not a big budget production that had the opportunity to focus on making everything look and sound perfect. Considering what they had to work with, I felt the performance was quite good.
The idea was to make the kids seem "normal" not like child prodigies. In effect, this comes off as a bit more "real" than having kids that seem too perfect.
Whatever the case may be, Adi Stein has no effect on Ryan Kelly or your appreciation and support. Im sure that even Ryan had to start somewhere in his acting carreer. Thankfully he didnt have people of your ilk putting him down for trying.

The problem I had with Adiel Stein was that he didn't seem like he really believed in heaven, hell, and his quest. He was also very aware of his lines. I just don't think he did that great a job (in part because of his director).

He did a good job for a kid who had only worked in small roles and comercials prior.

Yeah neither kid were too great to be honest but far from horrible. Likeable kids but they needed more direction. Weinberg was good in Scrubs lol. And im surpised Adi [who I enjoyed more] hasnt done anything before or since. Whats with that?

Kids are among the most difficult actors to direct, mainly because they lack experience to be "natural." Kids with no screen experience are even more difficult. New directors with no screen experience make it damn near impossible. You take a new director and kids that have been in a few commercials, their resulting performance will be an utter disaster. In Stolen Summer, somehow, they pulled it off.

If you can read this then you are trying too hard.
