How was it made?

I was having some discussion about the clip with my friends.

How was the parts, where the camera stays in perfect angle in front of the car during the curves, actually shot? Was it even real? CG?

My friends say CG. And that does seem like the obvious answer... Does anyone have any info on this?

Usually in such scenes the camera rig is mounted or, frequently, welded to the car.

but the camera is far enough to have the whole car in the view...

I thought about having the camera attached to the car by a long rod, and then removing the rod with computers... but it doesnt seem to really shake or anything.

It puzzles me.

Still probably welded to the car but on a rig that's out of frame and/or they used a wide angle lens. I'd have to take a look at the film again to tell for sure.

The camera is mounted on a long rod, then taken out of the view frame by frame using computers.

then how it's not visible?

Painted out via computer - that's "CGI", if you want to call it that...

this is a technique called 'camera stablizing' where one part of the footage is considered to be stablized and assigned in the software. the software then computes the movement in the entire frame, making the stablizing part of the footage fixed to its position. in this film, the right headlamps of the car are stablized and the entire frame is compensated relative to this fixed part of the footage.

Camera rig, plus green/blue screen.

Hint: the rig holding the camera in the shots was painted blue to blend.
