anybody else's favourite?

'star' was probably my favourite of the hire films, that and 'beat the devil'. does anyone else have a favourite?

reply

Yeah i also like "star" but mine favourites are "hostage", "beat the devil" and "chosen"

I think "The Hire" is one of the best action movies ever

Hellyeah! ''Star'' is the best from the Hire-series! :D

I'm happy that my mom owned a Bimmer two years ago. With a VIN number, you can order the DVD for free--I've probably shown 'Star' to 20 people now and haven't had one person complain.

Granted, 'Star' isn't as deep as the X5 short (I forget the name), the humor really works. It goes without saying that seeing Madonna/Esther/Newfound Brit Accent/"Best Mother Ever" wet herself fills me with schadenfreude.

BMW makes the greatest driving cars on the Earth (note: not the most reliable) and these shorts capture just a little bit of their capability.

I read the ending crotch shot as it LOOKING like she wet herself, but in reality it was the coffee in the cup she was holding between her legs. That's my view at least.

Where can I see the hire without buying the dvd. My favorite out of beat the devil, hostage and the one about the heart was hostage. John Woo is great.

I just saw the BMW series today. I LOVE this! Also Beat the Devil because I love GAry Oldman and everything he does he delivers it, even if he's playing a devil. But anyway, this one is so funny. Plus, the use of Blur's Song 2 totally liftetd up the mood.

I also like 'The FOllow" done by Won Kar Wai.

Star, Hostage and ........hmm maybe Ambush

My favorite was "Star", that driving is just incredible.

Yea a friend from work let me borrow his dvd of The Hire and "star" was actually the only one i liked.

I like clive owen, but the rest of the shorts just didn't grab me. "Beat The Devil" had a good performance by Gary Oldman, but was just too choppy for no reason at all.

My favorite is Star and Powder Keg. I like Star because it's funny, I can't get tired of watching it over and over. I'm surprised no one has said Powder Keg yet because it's quite good and it's very sad how it ends, and I like the 'Una Palabra' song. Beat the Devil was quite strange, didn't quite understand it other than they had a race all over Las Vegas or something.

Beat the devil was about the devil buying this sole, and at the end of his life he had to give it to the devil, clive owen took on a bet he could not win against the devil and he would of lost both his and james sole if he lost. He one, thanks to the M4 he was driving. Star is my favorite of the series. I brought the DVD BMW USA just before they stopped been on the net.

'The Star' is my fav. First off the BMW M5 is truly the greatest driving machine ever. A great sleeper GT. Plus Clive Owen was hilarious. After I originally saw this mini movie I knew he would be a big time star. He would've made an awesome 007. He is definitely an actor that I will more likely watch a movie he is in cuz he really does have that "it" factor. But definitely get a 2004 BMW M5. Cuz I want to steal it.
