As much as I support International cinema, I just can't support this film. I saw the uncut film back in 2002 and I don't think I've ever mentioned it to anyone. Even in 2002 it didn't do much for me outside of the CGI, which at the time I liked. I am really interested to see how this does in North America.
shareI agree. I saw this movie in the cinema, and I felt so embarrassed for watching it that I would have left the theater if I wasn't laughing my @$$ off with my friends. I can't believe that people compares this to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, it's just outrageous. The worst movie I have ever seen by far.

Comparing this with crappy Crouching Tiger is really outrageous, it's like comparing a masterpiece with the most overrated piece of *beep* Ok, Crouching is good passable silly movie but you really can not comparing a work of art with a typically made-for-bucks movie.

I really enjoy international cinema as well, but as with anything else, there's good and bad. This one was definitely one to tally on the bad side. It was like a slightly more adult version of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

This movie was awful. It's a shame that I actually waisted $20 and requested my local Asian video vender to special order me a copy. I watched it with my family and felt like an idiot because all my siblings kept asking me "what's going on" and I kept pretending like I knew what was going on even though I didn't have a f ucking clue. This movie is garbage. Don't waist your time. Thumbs down!

HAAHAHAH, my friends, I once shared your opinion. Years ago when I bought this, I stopped watching after 10 mins, thought it was horrible.
last night i pick it up again for some reason and watch it, and it turned out to be SEVERELY BREATHTAKING AND ULTIMATELY AMAZING;
but i did smoke a fat blunt before watching it, which also helped the movie make a LOT more sense...
Fair enough, but I could watch Sesame Street and find it severely breathtaking and ultimately amazing after smoking a fat blunt..
