It litteraly means : Zu Mountain Story.

Question for yuyang-1: what's the literal translation for the original '83 Zu Warriors? Thanks in advance!

ZU MOUNTAIN story ?? lol

well on the box its written zu warriors and when i did a search on imdb it was the legend of zu

so now i got 3 titles to choose from ?? lol

Several names should hardly be surprising. If you click on the alternate titles of most movies on IMDB you will find alternates for different areas - sometimes even ten or more.

I bought a DVD of this in 2001, and it is titled "The Legend of Zu". The 2005 "Zu Warriors" is a very different edit, with lots of missing story. The distributor may have been trying to capitalize upon Hark's earlier success with his 1983 "Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain", which is funny since I am guessing most Americans weren't familiar with it either. IMO Legend of Zu is a better title, because it sets the expectations right away that we are dealing with legends, rather than "Warriors" which makes it sound more like an action movie.
