As I have been participating to several shootings of this film in Luxembourg (Venice) as an extra, I would be interested to know whether the movie ever came out. When, where...?

I just saw this film at the Jewish Film Festival in Washington DC. Spectacular production, story and acting.
There was a lot of care and money put into this production and I am sure that it will see commercial presentation.
What scenes of the Venice part of the movie were done in Luxembourg? I was saying in the car that the outdoor scene where the sisters lived seemed so tight and almost like a set rather than an actual part of Venice.
Everything about this sumptious movie is a real joy, save for the executions of course. But then again, "they go with the territory".

I imported this movie from the Russian Federation:
PAL Region 5.
The version I have contains the original english 5.1 audio track.

All it takes to watch movies like this one, is to get a region free dvd player.
They are widely available if you patronize foreign DVD stores, buy them on ebay for as low as $30.00, or Google them.

You can also watch all region PAL DVD's on your computer DVD unit.

I saw it twice in the Greek TV. The first time must have been 2005, or 2006 and the last a few months ago. It's a very good film by the way.
