that film is almost identical (heck, they even have the same shot of a sunset emerging from behind a building!), with subtitles, hand cranked cameras and the like.
but with powder keg, i think tony scott was an executive producer. but honestly, with powder keg, i couldn't see a connection, so i'd be interested to hear how you link them...

good pick up on the song... una palabra. i hadn't seen man on fire in a while, so i didnt pick up on it until watched it the other day.
Powder Keg is my favourite short as well. Truly powerful filmaking.
