Goof Alert!

During the scene at the checkpoint when the Driver attempts to escape off-road through the brush, the shot inside the car after he rams the pickup truck behind him suggests that he throws the X5 into first gear (remember, this is a 3.0 with stick shift) and takes off quickly, moving forward. Watch the subsequent exterior shot carefully; we see the front wheels of the car spin on the dirt road, then stop spinning as the car moves off smoothly. It says here that the stunt driver at the time wasn't aware of or forgot to turn off traction control ("DSC" in BMW-speak, IIRC), so his jack-rabbit start was thus abbreviated, but they left it in the film anyway.
