When the character played by Reuben Blades looks down at his gun and realizes it's empty, he utters an exclamation that I assume is Spanish - does anyone know what he says? Thanks in advance.

He says "bendajo" which roughly translates as "son of a bitch".

*It's* is short for *it is* or *it has*. This rule has no exceptions.

Actually, he says " pendejo", meaning "dumb ass". He was referring to himself for forgetting to load his gun.
