Le Petit Prince musical

After being mesmerized by the music of Notre Dame de Paris, I kept looking for other stuff by Richard Cocciante. I found out he composed the music for a French stage musical of Le Petit Prince in 2001. I could only find it on Amazon.fr and bought both the CD and DVD (R2, no subtitles). I don't speak a word of French but the musical follows the book very closely, so I had no trouble following it. It is amazing. Completely different in tone and atmosphere from Notre Dame but just as haunting. The pilot is played by Daniel Lavoie (the priest in Notre Dame) and it was quite a surprise to see how attractive and charming he is when he smiles and without the terrible makeup he had on there:). It's an amazing production, beautifully staged and photographed in much higher quality than Notre Dame. I highly recommend it.
