The sex scene wasn't offensive in my opinion.

I don't know you about you guys but I didn't find the sex scene with Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton to be offensive. The way I see it, she was in a lot of pain and she needed someone to ease it. Desperate people do desperate things.

I found the sight of BBT wrung-out, wet weazle like naked body highly offensive. That gear should come with a warning.

I had a fish named Sam he lived in a bowl........

would've been better if ya saw some gash.

reply

He's pretty hot and you don't see that much of him, so I don't see how you could find it offensive.

I am thoroughly pleased that this piece of film exists. She is stunning.

I agree. She needed it, and she needed it bad. Look, she hadn't had sex for 12 years. Then in one night, both her husband and her son buy it. She was in pain. She wanted to feel good- inside and outside. Hank gave it to her, just like she wanted it. What could possibly be offensive about this? Force of one, my man. Stick em.

reply

"Force of one, my man. Stick em." That is offensive. I don't want to be reminded of "The Accused" more than I have to be. Thanks.

reply

It is offensive. But still it is funny. Pump that little fuxxxcxxking college asxxxs.

Looking at your post again, Roller Girl, I can appreciate that you found the incident depicted in "The Accused" offensive. So do I. However, I can separate the words of the characters from that incident and imagine if those same words were used in a friendly sex event. I'm sure you and your partner have on occasion used words to heighten the excitement of the sex. So when Billy Bob was pouring it into Halle and Halle waas feeling good, I could envision one of the parties saying something like "Force of one, my man. Stick em."

Look, I was turned on by the scene and was cheering Billy Bob and Halle on. In addtion to those words above, I recall saying something like, "Go for it, Hank. Come on, big guy. Stick it to her."

The incident on which "The Accused" was based was horrific. They should have burned the perpetrators and the cheering mob, especially the Leo Rossi character. But the words, apart form the terrible inclident, used in a consensual sex event were funny. Come on, your day. Those latter words I recall hearing girls say leading people in an exercise routine.

I thought it was the best sex scene I've ever seen outside a very few porn films. Of course, if you've seen any of the outtakes of some of BBT's other scenes, and heard some of the goofball stuff he says, you can only imagine some of the BS he must have been saying between takes.

reply

Thank you. I dunno why people so soooo uptight about this scene.

reply

I loved the scene Halle Berry is so sexy. could of been ten mintues longer

reply

I didn't think it was offensive at all. But it should say "GRATUITOUS sex scenes", not just "sex scenes" on the rating. That label usually implies one brief sex scene. I've heard that a lot of poor folks have had to endure the awkwardness of a 20 minute no holds barred romp with this movie.

Are you really implying that those two huge men are the black equivalent of Billy Bob Thorton??

reply

Yes, I would still be approving. Pour it into them. Force of one, my man. Stick em.

reply

The sex scene may have been a little graphic but I don't think intercourse was the main purpose of the scene.

The main purpose was to show that Halle was in a lot of pain due to the loss of her husband and son. Then Billy Bob's character was in a lot of pain because he lost his son too. So the sex occurred as a way for them to ease each other's pain.

I don't think race matters in this situation. I mean if a Black guy and White girl were in a similar situation, it could have happened. Just like with a Latino guy and White girl, Asian girl and White guy and so on.
