the worst movie ever

This is the most pathetic movie on a serial killer i have ever seen. Did ULI LOMEL direct it, or something?....the main problem i had with it was it had no ENDING....his dad dropped him off at the psychiatrist's office and drove off....Dahmer went into the building but then turned around, walked out across the parking lot and into the woods....THE END....what kind of a way is THAT to end a story about Dahmer?....there was nothing about him getting caught, going to trial, getting killed in prison...NOTHING....pathetic....also i have to question why his dad would drop him off at an office building where the parking lot was COMPLETELY EMPTY??...obviously, the offices there were CLOSED.....also this kid doesn't even know the right way to smoke a cigarette....

Clearly you didn't know what to expect when you started watching it. The film went a different route and tried to get inside Dahmer's mind and the loneliness and isolation he felt; which is why they didn't focus on the violence and only showed two victims being killed.

As for the film's ending, most people know who Jeffrey Dahmer was and that he was eventually caught, so there's no point to go into the specifics of how he was caught, sent to prison and murdered in jail.

And if you have to vent, don't say worst movie ever, because you will sound like a dumbass who hasn't watched many films. "Dahmer"(2002) is clearly not one of the worst movies ever made; Jeremey Renner's performance in the film alone makes it worth a watch.

I was about to reply but Mayobrown said most of what I was thinking.

"Worst movie ever" seriously? you sound like you're not even old enough to have seen it.

I've seen a lot of films about serial killers and they're always low budget and usually bad with poor acting. Whoever cast this low budget gem was incredibly lucky to have found a young, unknown yet very talented Renner.

This is the first film I saw Renner in, and at the time he was a nobody, yet he stuck in my mind ever since, quality actor.
