Wow that's bad!
One of the worst films I've ever seen. What a waste of time! I want those 95 minutes back!

THANK YOU. I felt the same way about this movie... it was really cliche and like "I just got out of film school! Look what I can do!" Bleh. Awful.
shareSaw it last night, was fooled into thinking it might be like 'Rainman' or 'Lars and the Real Girl' but was horribly disappointed. The 'smalltown' is the kind of 'smalltown' a young wannabe writer imagines when they have never been to a smalltown. Nobody makes fun of slow or retarded people in big or small towns, without being a mindless bully and earning the scorn of anyone around them.
I rated this the worst movie I have seen in the past five years (2 stars). Not a comedy, not a drama, no lesson learned, nobody's life improved in the film or in the audience. A complete waste of time and film. YUCK!
This is Academy Award material compared to "Wild Hogs".
