Ending credit montage

I loved that they showed everyone’s future lives in the end. Sandi’s ‘Griffin Escorts’ and Tiffany's '1-800-555-PSYK' was hilarious. But there were a few I didn’t quite get. Maybe some can tell me:

- Was that Mack holding the hold guy by the bed or was it the old guy that’s someone from the show (Kevin)? Maybe it's what them after their “Bro & QB” ice-cream biz?
- Who’s with Lindy on the farm scene, with all those kids? Is it Alison from 'Is it fall yet?', the bi girl? Did they adopt some kids and go live on a farm?
- Ms. Li's all messed up? Haha. Is it just simply that or was there something more to it?

My favorite shots were Trent's, Upchuck's, Daria/Jane's show, all of the Fashion Club's. What were yours?

reply

I thought that the guy being held with the long fingernails and tissue-box shoes was Tom. I think I recognized his stereo and candles on his dresser.

No idea about Lindy.

I didn't see the ones with Daria, Jane, Upchuck, or Ms. Li. What happened to them?

reply

Ok, that makes more sense for Tom in that Howard Hughes scene, dieing rich and crazy haha.

Ms. Li - In a filthy apartment, looking unkempt and peeking worryingly out the window though the window blinds
Upchuck - On a catwalk with a model on each arm, one's kissing him on his cheek. A big flashy sign “Sir Upchuck” in background and lots people around flashing cameras.
Daria/Jane - Both hosting a morning talk show “Good Morning with Daria and Jane”, dressed tasteful, sitting with coffee and looking happy & successful.

I'm officially pissed off. They cut out that scene of Ms. Li in the end credits, it showed her getting her comeuppance. Plus the dvd cut out seven minutes worth of scenes, the bastards.

reply

Does anyone know the classical type song that is played during the montage? it sounds like a movie theme, don't know if it is an original for Daria though i doubt it.

reply

Which one was Trent? Was the the fat guy at the family counseling?

reply

Yeah that was him, but I'm not sure it was counselling, I was wondering what it was, he was sat in front of a sign that read 'family act'... any ideas?

p.s I was very sad he didn't keep his figure!

reply

My favourite was Lindy and Allison on the farm with the adopted kids, that was really cool of them to include the characters from the movies. Also Trent was a lawyer or some kind of barrister he was in charge on the "family opportunity act" which i guess is about gay adoption

I loved Stacy's actually. It shows that she actually dumped the lifestyle and came into the person you could see brewing throughout the series. Every time Sandi does something stupid, she either looks uncomfortable or annoyed.

In the end, Okonkwo threw the Cat.

reply

Yup, Stacy as the racing champion was my fav.
