CGI was actually, dare I say it......good

I know most people will probably disagree with me because it's obviously CGI in most of the alien scenes, but I don't think it's any better or any worse than what we see in today's blockbuster movies. From what I gathered, the shit weasels were a mix of puppetry and CGI, which I think all movies should still be doing, not just relying on CGI the entire time.

The scene where Henry comes back to the cabin and finds the nest was really well done, much much better than the shitfest that was "The Mist", that had some of the worst CGI I've ever seen in the modern era of computer animation.
