because they made those dreamcatchers as kids

"Each 1/4 cup serving of Manwich contains a 1/2 cup of vegetables."

reply

ya but what did that have to do with the rest of the entire movie?

Seriously? Did you even watch the whole movie? What about the scene with all five of them putting the dreamcatchers they made together on Dudditz's living room floor?
And then the final scene when Dudditz/Mr Gray disperse into that red cloud and it forms a dreamcatcher?
And what about simply the symbolism of the dreamcatcher representing their friendship as being TIED to each other for life???

And by the way, Avatar was one of the most disappointing films ever.
I guess everyone who lauds this film must have seen the 3D in theatres. It was great, but not breath-taking, awe-inspiring or dumb-founding. I saw it on a 52 in. widescreen at home and it was just way overblown. I was especially disappointed BECAUSE I was so looking forward to it in 3D! When my daughter insisted I watch it with her at home, I gave in-she had just bought it and had already seen it in the theater.
Learned my lesson, will only see my biggest expectations in theatres.

First of all, I love this movie. I thought the title was good.

But I just wanted to say that Avatar was a huge disappointment and I saw it in the theaters in 3-D. It totally sucked! The action was fun I guess. But the script was so god awful that the 3-D action could not have made up for it. So honestly, you weren't really missing anything that much.

I myself am greatly disappointed with Bear Claws pastries. The only flavor is on the outer coating, the inside has no flavor whatsoever. Not to mention that the sticky coating gets on everything when you try to eat it...

Since we're staying on topic an all...

Haha, that would have been funny had I not been responding to the OP's signature line. Sorry you weren't able to catch that. Also so sorry that I upset the order of the universe. Hope that the earth manages to regain it's former rotation, lol.

Wait, wouldn't my off-topic comment fall under the definition of 'a little anarchy'??? Hmmm.

Oh well, sorry I upset the ESTABLISHED ORDER. : D

btw, did catch it, but I just liked the whole 'Bear Claw' thing that came to mind :)

In the book, Duddits was a metaphorical "dreamcatcher" for the rest of the boys. So that's where the name came from. Plus, Stephen King's wife didn't like the original title, which was "Cancer".
