Steven King si terribly repeatable

Never read the book, but Steven King is repeatable like a damaged stereo record. Same dumb story as IT, but instead of clown a messy thing like Ridley Scot's Alien. And again a group of kids who meet something paranormal and now they are grown up, and eventually encountering it again. Just like IT.

Never read the books. But in my opinion the storyline of the movies is almost the same.

If you've never read the books then you're not qualified to give any opinion on Steven King. He often uses similar themes, locations, etc. Every writer does that. But to base an opinion off of watching two relatively crappy movies (one of which was a tv movie) is pretty stupid. So do everyone a favor and keep your moronic opinions to yourself.

I think you mean repetitive.

I expect he just means talentless and a plagerist. King uses the four teenagers fetish in a lot of his stories, more or less with identicle personalities. Just be thankful that the movie only lasts a couple of hours and you didn't have to read one of the idiots books.

I finished reading Salem's lot about a month ago, then bought the movie. I remember seeing the movie when I was a kid. I never read Stephen King's book, but one christmas I got a gift card for a book store and decided to give them a try. Well the Salem's Lot book was good, so then I watched the movie. Well there were changes for the movie one guy had a differnt 1st name in the movie than the book, charactor's professions were also different, and the "master vampire's" familiar was slaughterd by the "master" cut open stabbed what have u. In the movie the familiar was shot. Currently I am reading Nightmares & Dreamscapes and some of the endings to the chapters I have read I don't get.

A little late on this post, but just had to add my two cents worth. I agree you can't have an opinion on Stephen King if you don't read his books. You may have noticed that he is not the director of these movies. So just saying, if you want to enjoy King - read his works, if you want to comment on movies made from his stories find someone else to rip apart, or final alternative read the book, then compare where the director or actors got off the mark in telling the story.
