Great movie, on a different level

I'm surprised people aren't appreciating this movie more. It's very bizarre and different. It sort of feels like a dream when you're watching it, in that it portrays a mix of extreme emotional reactions to fantastic scenarios. The emotional loss felt when one of the telepathic friends dies is so powerful because they were essentially parts of each other. I mean, that's just incredibly profound.
To me this is one of the most underrated on IMDB.

Yeah, I agree. I know some stuff might seem a bit corny and Morgan Freeman was miscasted, other than that, the movie is really great! The book was with no doubt difficult to adapt to the screen, you can see it in the film, but the movie has an awesome story and it's told in a very creative way. I'm very found of it.

Yes agreed . Love the way telepathy powers are handled. Would have have been interesting if one of them had carrie like powers. Speaking of carrie i saw the 1976 version and was very underwhelmed.

This is a better time
