Watching this on MAX right now.... It's so BAD that I can't stop watching it.... It's a shame because it has a great cast, director, writers.

I mean that's the whole metaphors of a train wreck being like a movie. It's not good, in fact it's downright bad, but you can't look away. The whole point is to get across the fact that just because you keep watching doesn't make it good. That's like the entire point of the saying...

Strange film... Some scenes are excellent (bathroom scene). And yet the other parts are pure sh!t.

Bad movies are a dime a dozen but Dreamcatcher is a special type of bad precisely because of all the renowned talent behind it and the apparent notion that no body gave a shit when they were shooting it. It's kind of fascinating that it even got made and they put that much money behind it, and it's a shame that Kasdan's career has really suffered as a result of it, he is a damn good director but this was a bad choice on his behalf.
