I can't believe this didn't work with Lawrence Kasdan and William Goldman writing the script from a Stephen King novel. If someone had come to me before this movie and said it would suck I wouldn't beleive them in a million years. Why didn't it work????
shareBecause even Stephen King admits that Dreamcatcher was his worst book and he shouldn't have written it while under the influence of painkillers after his accident. Since the source material blew, there was no reason to think the movie would be any better. He also thought the Tommyknockers sucked too.

Both Dreamcatcher and the Tommyknockers started off interesting enough. They just fell apart at the midpoint.

Started off with an interesting enough premise and then a bunch of sticky, messy aliens show up and I was like: "Oh. Yawn."
