Great movie Bad Ending

i think this is a great movie and i loved it. very goof follow up to the cube movie. hypercube is time and space and cubes. and dimensions and math and numbers and yah.
the only beef i had was the ending. did not like the ending at all. just seemed boring and seemed like they couldnt come up with something better and felt rushed. i loved the scene where the guy opens the door to the next room and see's himself being decapitated.
def a fun movie if you dont mind the *beep* end

I completely agree. I think the movie is great and I loved the concept but that ending was very bad. What were they thinking?! It would have been waaaaay better had they just ended it before she wakes up.

reply

i think it was a bad copy of the original. we can agree on the ending though. what a cheap cop out.

Good Ideas, poorly executed. Bad acting, and poorly written dialogue as well.

A really bad ending retroactively ruins a movie. If a movie is great fun and then ends horribly I still leave with a bad taste in my mouth. Its like having a lot of fun at a party for an hour or so then something terrible happens, for the rest of your life you will think of the party as an unhappy experience.

Exactly.

There were some seemingly intelligent elements presented but overall it was an incoherent, poorly acted mess. I still laugh at the fact that an "aged" Simon shows up at the end and all they could muster in terms of make-up to demonstrate the aging was to throw some gray in his hair and beard. It was just a microcosm of how bad the movie was.

Simon is about my age; ain't that young! What your beef with the makeup? What didn't make any sense was his turning into a cannibal! After all that carnage and he barely had a speck of blood on him IIRC! 
