Why does everyone hate this excellent movie?

I cant understand why people think this is a crap movie, i agree if its not your cup of tea your entitled not to like it, but to say its bad and poor acting just shows you know nothing of comedy cinema. Horatio and Cuba do a brilliant job at playing these desperate characters!

The laughs just go on through out the whole film, yes its stupid yes its slapstick, yes is cliched, but hey guys, ITS SUPPOSED to be all those things!! its takes the piss out of itself, all the actors know this and play it in that way to. Unfortunately our society take things so seriously all the time its quite ridiculous how much and leaves the majority without the intelligence to take something for what it is.

Take in all around you, Life is to precious ignore as you glide through it.

Not one of my favourites but thoroughly enjoyable flick. On the contrary to popular notion, I was susrprised how good it was. Tastefully done !!!

I couldn't agree more. It's clear that the people who hate the movie have an agenda against the main actors, Cuba, Roselyn and Horatio or they don't approve of the subject matter. Regardless, this movie is very witty and funny. Not to mention the excellent comedic timing by Roger Moore. Simply outstanding movie!

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie! It was actually very funny. Very good rental.

My wife and I watched it again last night after seeing it years ago, we laughed all the way through, it was so bad it was just funny. It's simple humour and light hearted , just what we needed to wind down from work.

Because it is the most witless unfunny crap I ever saw. How Gooding got any work after this travesty is beyond me.
