Animatronic Walrus?

I noticed during the credits a shot of a group of people carrying what appeared to be a walrus head attached to a metal frame with some wires running out to some sort of control panel, as if it were some sort on animatronic device. I don't remember seeing a walrus at all at any point during the movie. Does anyone know what this was for? Maybe a deleted scene or something?

In the final scene, where the evil spirit is driven out, the shaman
uses large walrus teeth to make him look like one. Well, a little bit.

I also saw that and wondered if I had missed something. But I think it must have been a deleted scene. Perhaps it had the same issues as Spielberg's shark.
