Hate to tell you, but circumcision is definately mutilation. Whether there is any reason to perform the mutilation is a contested point, although doctors are certainly having more and more trouble defending it as each of the so-called "benefits" is exposed as neglible.
In a literal sense, yeah it is 'mutilation'. The hygiene benefits and generally positive response makes up for it though.

The mutilation doesn't make up for it's supposed "benefits", even according to the American Academy of Pediatrics which says "The benefits are not sufficient... to recommend that all infant boys be circumcised."

Here, here. I'm an English guy here and having a foreskin is completely normal and a good thing as that area is sensitive and has nerves, which makes sex really good.
Most guys with foreskins can normally wash under his foreskin, so he doesn't have to circumcised to make sure he is clean down there at all. I like guys that are cut (circumcised) or uncut (uncircumcised), but I can be a little squeamish depending on if there is a noticeable scar around the guy's willy.
No offence there, guys, as I still like people no matter what. I am just a little sensitive to some things like that and blood as well.
The poor baby boys that don't get a choice about circumcision from whatever religion or culture they are born into. There are people in the world who say it shouldn't happen to the babies.

There are arguments for and against circumcision. For instance, circumcisions are more hygienic but uncircumcised men find sex and masterbation more pleasurable because of the nerve endings in the forskin. I for on,am not circumcised and have no problem with it. You have to clean alittle more but that's it. Girls don't mind it and it does make sex feel better.

As for the procedure, personally I think it's pointless, first of all it numbs your senses thus giving less pleasure from sex. Second of all the higiene argument is absurd, because foreskin holds no boundary for being fresh and clean, unless of course you obey common sense everyday higiene. Then it prevents the penis from having contact with your lingerie, swimsuit etc. so I don't understand how it can be worse for your higiene. And most of all nature has given us foreskin for a reason I suppose. Just like It gave us 5 fingers instead of four...

I personally think circumsized penises look better, and am glad to have been circumsized. I don't think there is that much of a diference in sensation with cut vs. Uncut so I doubt the arguemnt is even negligable. Circumcision for the win!!!!!

This episode seemed really weird to us in the UK. Imagine how appalled you'd be by a sitcom episode where a woman was pressured by her friends to undergo genital mutilation to fit in - that's what watching this was like for people outside the US.
