The show's fatal flaw.....

Was that it aired on the WB rather than Comedy Central. Comedy Central is a channel I would be willing to bet more people in the show's target audience watch. Had Comedy Central actually picked up the show when the WB cancelled it, who knows how many more episodes would have been created let alone how much more popular the show would have become. It was like "Seinfeld" but a tad more risque.

WB's too family oriented.
This was a damn funny show, highly underated, good actors, strange plot but thats what makes it funny.

Not realy at the time that it came out they didn't realy have a focal point for comedies, they were getting away from urba/fox like comedies that were hits in their early days (Wayne Brothers, Sister Sister, Jamie Foxx, Unhappily Ever After, Parent Hood etc.) What killed the show was that It came out the year that most of WB's old style shows had crashed and burned and REBA was a monster comedy hit for the WB, the WB had taken a gamble in that Will and Grace was going to now be NBC's big draw on Thursday night since Frasier was moving back to Tue. the WB had a low rated comedy performing decent enouth for them on Sun. that was scewed towards Males as well as a moderate hit Jamie Kennedy that was scewed toward males so they were going to have 2 female scewing shows start the night (Sabrina/What I like about you)then (off centre/JKX)to get the male viewer) the plan backfired NBC dominated the night and the WB bombed the following year female drama (Charmed took over and rled the night....I believe that if they could of kept a male dominated SUN night Off Centre may of made it another year or 2

On top of that when has CC sustained a sitcom. They have tried a couple of times but they were never realy into it. In fact the only sitcom on their network is SCRUBS and it is more like a live action sitcom. The only other channles at the time that it may of worked on was either FOX or F/X (Always Sunny has been on for 4 years, Son Of The Beach for 3 yrs before that)

I agree the show was awesome, I don't think Comedy Central was the home for it. I think WB was scared of this show & they would have been better off on UPN, or USA network. Comedy Central is just as scared of shows like this IMO, look at the censorship you see on what they do show.

Maybe the WB was the only choice the producers had, but I think if it would have been on a network that would have let it grow, we'd have a truly amazing show to watch for 6 seasons or more.

I think TBS may have been a good network for this show.
